How do I know if my booking was successful?

Normally, you will receive an automatic confirmation email within a few minutes of making your online booking. If you still have not received a confirmation two hours after booking, please check your spam folder. If the booking confirmation is not there either, please contact the Restplatzbörse Service Centre. Our staff can be reached on +43 1 580 850 or via reservierung@restplatzboerse.at.

When will I receive my travel documents and tickets?

You will receive your travel documents and tickets no later than 48 hours before departure – either by email or post, depending on the tour operator. Please note that the holiday must be paid for in full. For spontaneous travellers booking last-minute in one of our branches on the day of departure, our staff will hand over the documents immediately.

Is a transfer included in my trip?

You can see whether a transfer to and from the airport at your destination is included in the offer details and during the final booking step. You can easily add a transfer online by selecting an offer that includes transfers on the hotel page. If you have booked a transfer, this will be stated in your travel documents.

How do I redeem a voucher?

Please note that vouchers cannot be redeemed once your trip has already been paid for.

When do I have to pay for my trip?

When booking a package holiday or a hotel, usually only a deposit is required initially. The amount of the deposit depends on the tour operator and the travel date. For last-minute bookings, the full holiday price is normally due immediately.
You can see exactly which amount is due and when during the final booking step under the payment terms, as well as in your booking confirmation.

How can I change my booking or cancel my trip?

In general, it is possible to cancel or change a booking. For online bookings, please contact our Service Centre. For bookings made at a Restplatzbörse travel agency, please contact the team at that specific branch.
Please note that cancellation and rebooking conditions vary depending on the tour operator. Any applicable fees can be found in the operator's terms and conditions. If you have booked a Flex Package, changes or cancellations are free of charge, provided the package conditions are met.

How does online check-in work?

With many airlines, you can check in online yourself via the airline's website. Simply use your reference or booking number, or the booking code found in your travel documents. Web check-in is usually available from approximately 30 hours up to 2 hours before departure, depending on the airline.

Is baggage included in package holidays?

Accepted Answer

When booking a package holiday, a certain amount of checked baggage per passenger is usually included in the price. Regulations and weight allowances depend on the airline and can be found on their respective website. If you are travelling with children or babies, please check with the airline in advance to see if the little passengers are entitled to their own baggage allowance. Detailed information about your included baggage can also be found in your travel documents. If your suitcases exceed the weight limit, excess baggage fees must be paid directly at the airport.
If you wish to take special baggage on your flight, you must register it with the respective airline in good time. Terms and transport fees can also be found on the airline's website. Prams and buggies are not counted towards your baggage allowance by most airlines and are carried free of charge.
